Candidates are listed in ballot order. All candidates on the ballot have been invited to participate.
What to Expect
Each candidate will give an opening statement, answer the same set of questions on issues facing the city, and close with a final statement. Every candidate gets equal time, and a League moderator keeps the conversation on track.
The League doesn't endorse candidates or tell anyone how to vote. Our job is to give you a fair, side-by-side look at everyone running so you can decide for yourself.
Also on the city ballot: City of Saginaw Proposal 1, a charter amendment that would eliminate the dollar cap on property tax revenue the city can collect while keeping the existing millage limit. It's a good topic to read up on before the forum.
See Your Ballot
Not sure if you live in the City of Saginaw or which races you'll vote on? Look up your exact ballot at the Michigan Voter Information Center (michigan.gov/vote). It takes about two minutes. You can also compare candidates' answers to League questions at VOTE411.org.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
